Softies

I am currently having a sewing session. I have always loved to sew and sometimes I get into a sewing mood. For the last few weeks I have been enjoying looking for and creating some softies. Softies are stuffed toys for children. They have no sharp or hard parts so are safe for even the smallest of Children to play with. I will share some photos of the ones I finished off and there will be more tomorrow too :)

Birthday card

I made this card for a relative's son's first Birthday and I had to share it was so much fun to make and I think it looks great!!

Hello again sorry to be absent for a little bit I thought I had worked out how to schedule a post for the next day but I hadn't so my post I organised for last week is not there :(

Invitations

Nearly 6 years ago I designed our wedding invitation, it was so much fun and I enjoyed sitting with friends putting them all together. I decided to offer help to others in making their wedding invitations unique and to show their personalities. I have made a number of different invitations not only for weddings but birthdays too. I will be adding some pictures of them as I find them.

Card making

I started making cards to give to friends and family about 5 years ago. I still find it hard to make a wonderful card but I have lots of people I can turn to for advice when I get stuck. The best part about Crafting is making new friends.

ATC's

So I joined a group called Artist Trading Cards (ATC's). You make a set of cards and send them off to be swapped with other people's cards. At first I found it very difficult to make them as I wasn't sure what to do, but after completing a few swaps i am now a bit more confident.

These are the 2 I made this week.

My daughters cake

So my daughter has fallen in love with Fairies, Tinkerbell in particular so we googled images and found something she wanted as her Birthday cake. Here is my interpretation of the fairy forest. :)
It took approximately 5 hours to put together.

Hello everyone, I am sorry for my absence the last few days I have not been 100% with a head cold and looking at the computer was painful at times. I also had My youngest's 3rd birthday so there was cake to make etc. I will post a pic of my latest project and the cake I made. I hope you enjoy seeing what I have been up to :)

School Hair Clips

My Daughter asked me to buy her some clips she could wear in her hair for school but I couldn't find any the right colour so I bought some ribbon and started fiddling with bow styles and this is what I came up with. I am sell these made to order :)
